WELCOME TO HEATHFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL
Welcome to the Heathfield Family - a family where everyone is respected, our differences are celebrated and we are united by our shared values, to form the Heathfield rainbow.
We are an ambitious school and truly believe in achieving excellence for all children in the Heathfield family. Ofsted judged Heathfield as 'Good' in February 2022.
Pupils are proud to attend Heathfield Primary School. They are greeted warmly each day by school staff. Pupils feel cared for. They use a mental health check-in system each morning. This lets teachers know how pupils are feeling. If pupils are unhappy or have any worries, a member of staff is on hand to help them. (OFSTED 2022)
Pupils work hard, achieve highly and behave well. They live up to leaders’ high expectations for their behaviour and achievement. (OFSTED 2022)
Leaders ensure that pupils can access a range of opportunities. (OFSTED 2022)
Heathfield is a one form entry primary school, situated in Middle Hulton, Bolton. We provide high quality education for Two year olds up to Year 6. Our school benefits from extensive outdoor spaces.
This website has been designed to give you information about the school in a form that we hope you will find accessible and will answer the types of questions that you, as a parent/carer, will have, whether you already have children in the school or are thinking of sending your child to Heathfield Primary.
Whilst our curriculum is based on the National Curriculum we offer a broad and exciting curriculum, which aims to be engaging and stimulating for all children.
We provide an inter connected curriculum that promotes meaningful connections between concepts and knowledge (Heathfield Head), develops genuine and robust character traits to prepare children for life in the modern world (Heathfield Heart) and opportunities for children to use and apply their Head and Heart to answer learning questions (Heathfield Hands) resulting in knowledgeable, physically and mentally healthy children that achieve their potential and have a solid foundation to become lifelong learners.
